It may also violate Chekpros' Terms of Service and could result in account restrictions or suspension. Are there hidden deductions taken from freelancer earnings?
Chekpros aims to keep its fee structure clear and transparent. The applicable platform commission is 8% on qualifying freelancer earnings. However, external taxes, payment-processing charges, currency-conversion costs, and other applicable charges may apply depending on the transaction, payment method, location, and applicable regulations

The Chekpros 8% Club is our straightforward, low-commission pricing model for freelancers. Chekpros charges an 8% platform commission on applicable project earnings, allowing freelancers to retain 92% of the applicable project value before external taxes, payment-processing charges, currency-conversion costs, or other applicable fees

When employers fund milestones through Chekpros escrow, freelancers have greater payment security, while formal dispute-resolution procedures provide an additional layer of protection, subject to Chekpros' applicable policies
How does escrow protection work on Chekpros?
When an employer hires a professional, the agreed project or milestone funds are deposited securely into Chekpros escrow. The funds remain locked until the agreed work is submitted and approved by the employer. This ensures that funds are committed before work begins while keeping employers in control of their payments
